ESTATE CARETAKER

Job Summary: Work as part of a team of caretakers in maintaining the highest possible standards of cleanliness to the common parts of housing estates as stated on the Local Housing Office Quality Assurance Plan. Contribute to the safety aspects of residents and visitors to housing estates including the report of defects to common parts that may be discovered whilst carrying out routine duties. Be aware of the Councils policy on Anti Social Behaviour and to ensure that any related incidents are reported.

C andidate Profile

Previous experience of estate cleaning and the use of cleaning materials

Knowledge of Health & Safety in relation to the use of cleaning materials and equipment

Able to produce daily reports/diary

Good communication skills

Customer focused

Available for weekend working and working at short notice

Hold an enhanced CRB or be willing to get one done through the agency.
