We are currently working with one of the best known Residential Developers in Central London and the South East, specialising in volume development and regeneration schemes.

We are currently working with one of the best known Residential Developers in Central London and the South East, specialising in volume development and regeneration schemes.

Due to continued growth within their Central London offices, they are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager to lead the 3rd of 10 phases on a large regeneration scheme in south east London.

The 33 million project will include 254 residential units of mid to high rise blocks. They will be a mixture of private and affordable housing including some river frontage development together with commercial and retail units.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be process driven and will assume financial responsibility for this section of work including compiling monthly valuations, appointing sub contractors, writing monthly reports to the main board, controlling procurement along with managing a team of 4 Surveyors including 1 x Senior, 1 intermediate, 1 Assistant and 1 Graduate.

The role will be a hands on for the first 3/6 months, before assuming a more managerial role.

Suitable candidates must:

Have Urban Regeneration experience
Be process driven
Have longevity with current & former employers
Be able t o manage/motivate and build a team
Have built up good relationships with sub contractors
