The 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games offer a fantastic opportunity for the on trade. Our research suggests that over 323m more will be spent in London this year compared to 2011.

As a result we are recruiting for several roles that will be dedicated to the development of our Games fulfilment and service plan. These exciting openings will offer plenty of chances to play a crucial role in helping Bibendum make the most of this amazing opportunity.

We are looking for a Sales Support person to join us until October and help ensure the operation delivers a first class service to our customers.

Your main responsibilities would be:

Ensuring the logistical requirements for events run smoothly from initial planning stages to the final returns

Ensuring pricing is loaded accurately on the system

Assisting with any returned stock and ensuring credits are raised in a timely manner

Dealing with customers

Working alongside stock control to ensure stock availability

Creating and maintaining stock reserves according to forecasted stock

Building and maintaining positive customer relationships and ensuring an understanding of their needs and requirements

Quickly and efficiently solving problems that may arise at any stage

Working with Customer Services to ensure orders have been received

We are looking for someone with the following:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

An adaptable and resilient approach to your work

A proven ability to prioritise and multi task in a high pressure environment

Good relationship management skills

Strong detail focus

An understanding of the wine and alcoholic drinks industry

You would be working 40 hours a week, 5 days out of 7, and there will be some evening and weekend work involved. Your working hours would be on a shift system and be between 8am and 9pm. Therefore it is crucial that you are willing to work some unsociable hours. You would be mostly based in our office in Primrose Hill, although there may be some travel involved to other key sites in and around London.

This is a temporary contract and we envisage that this position would last until October.
