Tester / Test Automation / Automated Testing (Selenium / Fitnesse, Java, UNIX). Successful software house that are developing a suite of innovative software products for the telecommunications industry (OSS/BSS) is seeking a highly technical Tester / Test Automation Engineer. You will be responsible for testing their flagship product which utilises leading edge semantic technology / state of the art artificial intelligence techniques, working closely with an elite development team (Java / UNIX).

This position will suit a highly technical software Tester keen to take on an intellectually and techn ical challenging position. You will be working a highly collaborative Agile development environment at the forefront of technical innovation.

Requirements:

*Strong experience of testing complex data centric software including GUI testing for both desktop and web based applications
*Strong understanding of automated testing approaches and tools (particularly Fitnesse and Selenium)
*Java programming skills
*Comfortable in a UNIX / Linux environment
*Basic database administration of at least one of the following: MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Likely to be degree educated, although with relevant experience this is not important
