To help contribute to the strategic growth and development of Peek Traffic Limited we are looking for an experienced Bidding Estimator to assist in the preparation of both bids and tenders in the Urban division.

The primary purpose of the role will be to support the growth of the new Public Lighting business and the Companys commercial activities in response to public lighting enquiries and/or requests for bids, tenders or quotations. The successful candidate will also be expected to be involved in bids and tenders for other Urban propositions such as Traffic Signals and other related works.

You will use your excellent communication skills to enhance comprehensive Estimating services as part of a flexible team and deliver excellent customer service.

The successful applicant will be commercially aware and a strong negotiator. In addition we are looking for:

Current experience of producing schedules of pricing for Public Lighting bids/tenders

Previous experience of build-up & completion of bill of quantities

Used to being a point of contact with internal and external customers

Technical experience & knowledge from working within the Lighting industry

Qualifications in electrical/mechanical engineering is desirable

Must be used to reading and interpreting technical specifications & drawings

Strong organizational skills

Used to working to tight deadlines

Familiarity and understanding of ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001
