A professional and diligent Secretarial/Clerical Assistant required to work in our modern offices in Longbridge

Bournville College, based in the south west of Birmingham, is dedicated to the needs of our large and diverse student population. The College's Integrated Employment & Skills (IES) team are looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Administrator to provide secretarial and clerical support to the Assistant Principal and the IES team as a whole. You would act as a central point of contact for referral organisations such as JCP and also cover the main office's reception during busy times and/or when the Receptionist is on leave. It is therefore imperative that you have highly developed interpersonal skills, excellent customer service skills and the ability to liaise and negotiate with other areas across the college and with external agencies.

The successful Secretary/Clerical Assistant will possess the following:

- A minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Secretarial/Administration (ideally in IT also)
- Proven experience of similar secretarial/clerical work
- Strong MS Office skills including the creation of spreadsheets, the retrieval of data and generating reports
- A flexible approach to work along with the ability to quickly respond to changing requirements
