Antal International are recruiting on behalf of a global FMCG company, a Shift Team Leader to work at their site in Leicester.You will be responsible for preparation, filling, sterilisation and packaging aspects of all the manufacturing at the site including the development, performance management and coaching of approximately 20 mixed skilled associates and the managing of temporary contractors within the shift
Job Responsibilities

Responsible for covering the site (Custodian) in the Z7s absence, all hours whilst on shift.

Development & coaching of his/her team to deliver operational excellent performance.

Support, development & motivation of shift associates consistent with the 5 Principles & measured by Gallup in preparation for current and future business requirements

Responsible for the development, delivery and follow-up of engagement survey and plans.

Responsibility for leading one of (4) area continuous improvement focus teams; including setting, reviewing and identifying KPI measures & actions to deliver the improvement plan.

Responsible for leading the FMOS (Factory Manufacturing Operating System) process during his/her timeframe.

Responsible (through problem solving techniques & challenge) for leading the above process to determine root cause, identify appropriate action and agree owner to rectify issue.

Maintain and Improve Operational safety standards and behaviour

Maintain and Improve Quality and Food Safety standards and behaviour (ISO 22000 9001)

Qualifications and Experience

The job holder is likely to be educated to Degree Level

Previous Line Management experience is desirable.

Previous Operations experience is desirable
