You will play an integral role in delivering the future growth and success of OCS, one of the UK's leading providers of facilities management and property support services, by gathering raw information and data and transforming it into attention-grabbing copy for the bid and tender process.

As a Bid Writer you will:

Network and liaise extensively throughout the business in order to gath er the necessary information and data for bid production. This will involve some travel in support of the information gathering process.Use your skills to turn the raw information into copy which engages the client, demonstrating our ability to meet and exceed client expectations.Use all available collateral to quickly build an extensive understanding of clients - your copy will demonstrate that wefully understand the client's objectives and have a clear strategy to meet them.Be able to produce copy which demonstrates with every word an intimate understanding of the client, their needs and our solutions.Produce succinct yet compelling copy which demonstrates the features and benefits of choosing OCS in accordance with strict deadlines.Operate within the bid production team and the wider business to deliver on a diverse range of projects.

To succeed in this role you will need:

A natural ability to take in new information, quickly understand its meaning, and translate it into engaging and attention-grabbing copy. In addition to this, you will have a keen appreciation of a sales or commercial environment and be highly motivated to contribute to our future growth and success. Strong IT and analytical skills are a must, alongside a flare for effectively and compellingly communicating information and client focus through the written word. You will be educated to Degree level or equivalent, ideally in either an English Language or Creative Writing discipline.
