Road/Rail Machine Operators
London and the South East Balfour Beatty Rail Limited has an enviable history of delivering rail engineering projects throughout the world. We provide expertise to deliver - from innovation through to project close out with specialisation in permanent way, overhead line electrification and power supply systems with experience covering design, construction and commissioning of infrastructure projects in main line, mass transit and light rail. We a lso execute a successful plant business which provides equipment such as the latest tamping machines, Kirow Cranes, New Track Construction machines and many other types of On Track Plant machinery.

Requirements

Balfour Beatty is currently looking for conscientious individuals to work alongside our busy Road Rail Team. The positions are for Road Rail Plant Operators and the work predominately is at weekends and bank holidays, covering London, Eastleigh and Tonbridge areas on a causal basis. The suitable candidate must hold the following qualifications / competencies / experience:

Full UK driving licence CPCS Sentinel PTS Level 1 Minimum 2 years experience of the rail industry Tracked and wheeled 360 machines Owns own transport Experience of Renewals worksites desirable Proof of eligibility to work in the UK Can communicate and read in English You must be capable of passing a drugs, alcohol & medical screening.
