Responsibilities:
This position is ideal for a motivated, self-starter with product management experience who is interested in being an expert in the emerging social commerce domain and growing their product management skills within a highenergy environment. We are looking for a product manager with the vision and drive to define strategic areas for growth and take them to market.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating and driving the success of major, consumer-facing Bazaarvoice products through close coordination with the best and brightest in user experience design, engineering, sales and services. You will be a client and user-facing member of an experienced product discovery team that is accountable for researching, planning, prototyping, user-testing, performance analysis, sales communication, collateral creation, competitive analysis, and product launch activities.
Job Overview:
Assess and understand market and client business opportunitiesResearch and analyze consumer and crowd behavior with analytics dataDrive ideation process to address identified market and client business needsWork with a team according to Lean Startup principles involving rapid cycles of product prototyping and user testing to discover user-validated products and features.Build and launch new products and features through product management processMinimum Qualifications:2-5 years experience in product managementStrong user empathy and user experience intuitionSuperior written and verbal communication, presentation skills, meeting facilitation and follow-upAbility to execute a number of parallel tasks and work with cross-functional teamsPositive, self-starter attitude and desire to exceed client expectations at every opportunityAttention to detail and absolute focus on quality of workPassion for building and launching new technologiesPreferred Qualifications (each of the following is a plus):
B A/BS in Computer Science or MBA with product management specializationExpert knowledge in consumer web sites, web commerce or marketing platformsStrong analytical skills with knowledge of statistical analysis techniques, Excel, and SQL queries for product ideation and business impact researchProduct management experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) modelProduct management experience with social and/or mobile productsIf this sounds like you, or someone you know, please give us a shout!
