Job Description

We are looking to bring a talented Market Manager into our Media Production team in the LivingSocial London Headquarters. The successful Market Manager will play a critical role within the business, ensuring that all LivingSocial Deals adhere to a minimum standard of excellence against a number of key criteria, including quality, price, and timing, to ensure the satisfaction of our subscribers a nd maximise their uptake. Market Managers act as the gatekeepers of quality for all of the Daily Deals we deliver to our subscribers across a selection of UK cities.

Responsibilities

Our Market Manager will:

Evaluate all inbound contracts from the Sales Department to ensure that each Deal is of an excellent overall quality.Generate and analyse the performance metrics for Daily Deals to better understand the buying habits of our subscribers.Work collectively with varying Departments within the business to assess overall Deal quality.Prioritise and schedule Deals across all active cities on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.Manage and control our promotional inventory by industry and city.Serve as the primary point of contact for all within the LivingSocial Operations team from the point at which a Deal is submitted for approval or development.

Requirements

Our Market Manager possess:

Prior experience of working in a Media Planner or Media Scheduling role, ideally within a consumer facing media owner (or similar). Experience manipulating data sets, interpreting data trends and reporting results (both verbally and in writing) in a clear, concise and effective manner.The ability to apply a critical and analytical mind to a high volume of Deals.A Laser-like attention to detail.First-rate organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.The ability to work independently with excellent time management skills.Advanced Microsoft Excel experience (preferred, though not essential).
