MAXIMUS was the leading provider of Welfare to Work services in the UK under the Governments Flexible New Deal contract and aims to maintain this position under the new Work Program.

You will build long term relationships with local contacts of national employers to establish preferred supplier status and with local SMEs to engender trust and understanding. Use establish ed relationships to gather and fill vacancies for employers, and meet individual and team based employment targets, ensuring there is a plan for the promotion of our service to employers and deliver or co-ordinate those services as necessary.Provide a high level of customer service at all times to employers and participate as appropriate in employer and industry groups (such as local chambers of commerce) and employer focused events (such as employment fares).

Ideally you will have:

Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at C or above including English Language and Maths

Experience of working with customers and a relevant NVQ 4 would be a bonus

Minimum of three years sales environment including relationship selling

Proven success in achievement of targets in a high performance culture

Clear communicator, good listening skills and a persuasive style

Performance and delivery focused - working to targets and deadlines
