We are currently looking for a Distribution Co-ordinator for immediate start.You will be working for a national manufacturing company within their distribution offices in Flax Bourton, Bristol.This is an ongoing contract with a potential to turn permanent in the future.

Purpose - Responsible for the receipt of customer orders, accurate input of orders into the computer system and monitoring the progress of orders, kee ping customers informed

Role

The role will consist of;

Liaison with planning, transport and commercial functions to maximise all delivery opportunities.

Understand and enhance links with production teams to ensure effective and joined-up delivery to customers.

Embrace the KPI reporting suite and ensure that all relevant targets are achieved and ideally surpassed.

Understand and refer to the Masternaut system in order to enhance customer service.

Maintain communication link with Transport / haulage and feed back any issues experienced on site and initiate communications to initiate resolution.

Receive and report on any customer complaints or defective or returned materials

Contribute to any relevant route cause analysis.

Take personal responsibility for the accurate receipt of customer orders and the inputting of these orders, correctly into the system.

Support greater flexibility to accommodate every potentia l order, communicate issues quickly through the appropriate channels and work hard to assist with resolution.

Attend and contribute to monthly coaching and Health & Safety forums help communicate a culture of safety interdependency.

Candidates will be dealing with alot of incoming calls from customers as the role is very customer facing.

Location - Flax Bourton, Bristol

Start Date - 7th May

Hours - 8:00-5:00 looking at a 40 hour week

Salary 9.00 per hour to 10.00 per hour
