Event Marketing Manager Connect 1-2-1

The Product: TopMBA Connect 1-2-1 is an international series of MBA events connecting participating business schools with strong, well qualified prospective MBA students. We are a small, vibrant team of 8, working on this relatively new and rapidly expanding product. The Event Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in the success of this product.

Event Mar keting Manager -Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain international marketing strategies and campaigns for TopMBA Connect

1-2-1

Evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data.

Oversee all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities for European, Middle Eastern and Asia Pacific regions.

Develop social media and online strategies in conjunction with regional teams

Develop global partnerships with media and education preparation organizations

Manage budgets

Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments

Working with the PR Team to achieve frequent, timely and positive me dia coverage across all available media

Working with The Production Team to achieve effective, engaging marketing collateral

Working with the regional marketing teams to develop, monitor and deliver campaigns

Become a key member of the travel team to deliver the events themselves. This will include travel to North America, Latin America, The Middle East, Asia Pacific and European destinations.

Work closely with our New York Office to ensure best digital practices are implemented.

Event Marketing Manager -The Spec:

4-6 years experience working in event marketing, preferably international

Experience with a company in a related sector

A good understanding of the MBA or business school market

A strong understanding of end user and market dynamics and requirements

A proven ability to oversee marketing, advertising, promotional staff and activities

Extensive experience of developing, maintaining and delivering on marketing strategies to meet company objectives

Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals

A positive attitude, happy to muck in and perform a range of tasks and willingly take on challenging responsibilities, often last minute.

Strong communication skills, focus on results, problem solving, the ability to work autonomously and team spirit

We are also looking for somebody with a good sense of humour, patience, durability and flexibility
