Learning & Development Professional
The Supply Chain capability Learning and Development Team has an exciting opportunity for a Learning and Development professional to join the team.
Based at our Sidcup operation, this position will be both challenging and highly developmental, affording the successful candidate the opportunity to work with multiple levels of the organisation on a diverse range of site, cross-business and strategic initiatives.
The major areas of responsibility will be planning, delivery management, reporting & process management, to ensure excellence in executing key learning programs(e.g. technical, legislative and safety) and accurate reporting on those programs.
This role is positioned at a Professional level and requires an experienced Training and DevelopmentPractitioner, who will have the opportunity to develop their career further within a very progressive Learning and Development environment, in a dynamic and exciting work environment.
The role will report into the Manager, L & D, focused on Supply Chain, and collaborate with the local HRBP, the role will support the CCE employee & management client groups on a day to day basis on site the role will also provide vital links with the business L & D team in the Organizational Capabilities Centre of Expertise.
Key responsibilities / Accountabilities Include:
Act as first point of site contact for all local site related enquiries / issuesEvaluate and support the on job training and mentoringEvaluate the effectiveness of training delivery of CAPEX - Foundation - Technical and QSE training needsProvide vital links with audit protocols/schedules legal compliancesCollaborate with the site HRBP in order to effectively align the design, development and deployment of learning programs with business planning & effectiveness of deliveryResponsible for the execution of local site training plansConduct basic LMS administration & organisation of training activitiesUndertake project work as identified & support national led initiatives as requiredSupport the training of apprentices to ensure they are able to assimilate college and "on-the-job" training to gain formal qualificationMentor & Support site Technical trainers regarding L&D tools & techniquesConduct regular performance Management reviews with site HRBP & respective Mgt groups in order to monitor & control learning best practice & alignment of standardization processes.Develop, Review and update site training materials & solutions in collaboration with the OC COE, HR BP and operational SMEsNetwork with the HR BP and front line Management & teams to ensure on the job training is delivered on time, effective and consistent to defined standard of learningAssesses individual & team competencies via formal training programs & qualificationsProvide budget planning & expenditure controlKey skills / experience required for success include:
University level degree or equivalent in a related field (Psychology, Organization Development, Education, Training & Development) and/or equivalent work experience3 plus years in a learning and development roleStrong consulting and influencing skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilityStrong presentation / facilitation skillsSelf motivated & the drive to influence others in order to execute plans / activitiesAbility to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environmentExperience in the FMCG/Supply Chain sector and in a manufacturing environment considered a plus
