First off, its not one challenge. Its going to be all kinds across our increasingly wide online presence and digital strategy. But your focus is always going to be on delivering complex and business-critical software. As things stand today youll be using Drupal and PHP. Later opportunities would involve Java, C and Ruby for the most part. Dont know Drupal or PHP but you have strong OO skills and would love to learn these tools? Wed love to hear from you. On our websites team, you would find yourself working in various roles because we dont put our people in boxes and we dont operate in a conventional way. We take our hiring very seriously...So to be considered you'll have experience of the following:Delivery experience within complex, enterprise environments using PHP, Drupal, Java J2EE, C, or Ruby on Rails a technical test will be involved!Have worked across the whole SDLC including analysis, design, coding and implementation of large scale custom built object-oriented applicationsStrong OO design skills, including good design patterns knowledgeInterest in or experience of Agile Methodologies, such as Extreme Programming (XP) and ScrumExperience of web based applicationsAbility to work in a variety of client settings and in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentWorked in a forward looking environment using techniques such as test driven development and continuous integrationStrong communication and client-facing skills with the potential to work in a consulting environment
