About the Role

The post holder will play an important role in supporting the delivery of an effective governance service to a number of academy governing bodies sponsored by the Ormiston Academies Trust.

The successful applicant will work in the Ormiston governance department which provides a range of support services to the Ormiston Academies and their governing bodies including; clerking, advice and guidance on new legislation and procedures as well as training.

The job holder will ensure that the governance administration system runs efficiently and effectively and that accurate records are maintained at all times. Therefore, applicants will need to possess and demonstrate; excellent organisational and IT skills (e.g. Excel, databases, Powerpoint, Word, email and internet) strong inter-personal skills; attention to detail, be able to multi-task and work under pressure in addition to a friendly customer focussed "can do" attitude. Previous experience in education and/or governance is preferred but not essential.
