LGV Class 2Driver

40 hours per week, shift rotas, typically 7:00am - 3:30pm

Pay rate: 8.78 Training rate (for 1st four weeks)

9.04 Competent rate

Plus, free parking, and meals whilst on duty

Based at our Birmingham Airport location

Alpha Flight Services are a global provider of managed airline services. We provide inflight catering, and retail products to a variety of leading airlines.

Due to the growth in activity over the summer period, we annually increase our headcount with seasonal workers, who join us from approximately May- September.

Were currently looking to recruit a number of LGV Class 2 Drivers to join our Birmingham Airport operation.

Main responsibilities include:

Transport run between Birmingham Airport and our client's Wolverhampton depotCleaning equipment, and packing cartsLoading and unloading the vehicle with bars and trolleysCommunicating with client staffHandling food equipment

Full training provided

The role requires a lot of lifting, bending and stretching

Work as part of a teamWork to fast moving environment with tight deadlinesFlexible and enthusiastic approach to workBasic Numerical and checking skills essentialLGV Licence Class C Required (Class 2)
