ABC Contract Services are currently looking to recruit a Senior Software Engineer for our client who are based in the Bristol area.

The ideal candidate will have Data Centre experience and have worked in a defence organisation. The client supports the MOD on IT Systems, System Integration and Development pro0jects.

You will be responsible for:

Ensure software development is in accordance with the IT quality plan.Use good design and implementation methodologies for Software DevelopmentAttend workshops and Design ReviewsSupport out of hours software releasesModule Testing and Verify Software Development

You will have:

Knowledge of Web development tools: HTML,CSS,Java Script,jQuery,AJAXPrior experience in a Naval/Surface Fleet support roleKnowledge of Bask Command processorJAVA EE, Service Based Development experienceLinux Operating SystemsDeveloping and Deploying using Oracle Fusion Middleware 11gConfiguration and Administration of Subversion and GForge
