HR Business Partner - Investment Banking - Maternity Contract - Birmingham - 230-260 per day

My client a leading global wealth and investment manager based in London are recruiting for a HR Business Partner to cover maternity leave for approx 6 months in their Birmingham office.

The purpose of the role will include providing support to the Senior Business Partner to ensure a professional and proactive service is provided to all clients spread across the UK.

Duties:

Work with relevant team members spread across the UK to agree overall HR approach for each business unitProvide 1st line support, advice and guidance to managers on HR matters including disciplinary, capability, grievance, redundancy, sickness , leaver and attendance issuesWork alongside the HR specialists to meet business requirements including appraisals and contract addendumsProviding guidance and supporting line management with Employee Relation casesLiaising with HR Shared ServicesAssisting with HR projects

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:

Previous experience working as a HR Business Partnerwithin Financial ServicesGraduate with CIPD or equivalent qualificationExcellent communicator with strong relationship building skillsExperience of working in a regionally based rolePrevious experience ofbeing involved in the annual review and promotions process Experience of working with senior management with the ability to constructively challenge and influence them Experience of change management through reorganisation & ongoing project work
