To support Project Managers so that Asbestos surveys and projects are delivered to time, cost and client requirements and to the highest standards required by Bureau Veritas.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

A level or equivalentDegree preferred but not essentialOccupational Health Certificates in BOHS P402 P403 and P404Previous Asbestos Industry experience in the provision of asbestos surveys, and airborne fibre measurement, four stage clearance and reoccupationExperienced in the organisation and planning of personal work loadExperienced in fulfilling role of day to day site contact for the business and its clients H&S Experience

MAIN RESPONSIBILITES:

Deploy in line with Bureau Veritas Core Values and Code of EthicsSupport the culture of One BV within the teamCompliance with the Bureau Veritas UK Health &Safety policy and proceduresCompliance with the Bureau Veritas Asbestos Quality and BV UK Management System Assist Project Manager in the formulation of quotations and tendersCarry out asbestos surveys and airborne fibre measurement, four stage clearance and reoccupationProduction and provision of test reports and certificates to clients and contractorsManage the on site requirements of the ProjectFulfil role of day to day site contact for the business and its clientsOrganise and plan personal work load as allocated by Project ManagerWork closely with the Centralised Planning team ensure work is being effectively scheduled and carried out.Assist in the formal training of junior staffAct as mentor and role model to junior staff in support of their developmentWork effectively within a team ensuring maximum efficient utilisation of timeMaintenance of qualification to operate within the asbestos discipline Timely completion and submission of internal/external Quality Control requirements
