We are seeking an exceptional senior sales manager who can motivate a sales team whilst enhancing existing contracts to their maximum value, we are particularly keen to speak to anyone who has been working within the freight or logistics industry.

You should be confident of selling and presenting at board room level and possess first class communication skills.

You must have at least 5 years experience selling and managing at a senior level and have a proven track record of success.

The essential duties and responsibilities of the Sales Manager will be:

The achievement of demanding but attainable sales targets agreed, in conjunction with the Managing Director International, and in line with the companies goals , on an annual basis.

The retention and development of existing customer accounts

Ensuring customer satisfaction

Managing and motivating a team of sales professionals with effective and open communication, to ensure that they achieve their targets.

Attract, build and retain the very best quality of staff within the team. And ensure that they are equipped with the right skills, knowledge, competencies to delight customers and achieve business results.

Produce a monthly sales report on new customers and new routes you have acquired and a sales pipeline report on new business opportunities.
