Description of the job
Development of innovative design solutions answering complex challengesin a multifuctional context using all possible metalic and fiber metallaminate options.

Design of metal components and assemblies that are optimized in terms ofweight, cost and production/assembly while highest savety of the AC isassured using apropriate Design tools. Assessing the various designsolutions under all aspects.

Tasks
A vacancy has arisen for a KC & T Integrator to be based on the Filton site (Bristol).

Act as A350 KC&T Integration Engineer for the Component Design Teams and RSPs ensuring that all KC&T information on the drawings is correct and in accordance with AP2684 and AM2016 and any queries relating to the AP and AM are highlighted and actions to resolve are in place.

Your skills
As the succesful candidate you should have the following

Engineering degree or equivalent.
Proven experience working as an aircraft design engineer involved in aircraft primary structures using a broad range of design tools.
Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) or geometric product definition (GPD) and general tolerancing of aircraft structures, particularly 3DCS tools and techniques.
High degree of flexibility in relation to working practices and travel.
An understanding of methods and processes involved with metallic and composite manufacture, production and assembly.
Familiarity with procedures and practices within Airbus, particularly the KC&T process and CATIA V5 based digital environment.
High regard for both internal and external customers.
Maintenance of Aircraft integrity as the over-riding principle.
Good communication skills and a pro-active approach to problem solving.
Good interpersonal skills.
Ability to used MS PowerPoint and Word.
English: Negotiation level
