A well-established, family-run Wooden Toy Wholesaler requires a committed and hard working individual to join a dedicated team of staffat their Folkestone head quarters.


Title of the Position: Accounts Administrator

Reports to: The Directors of the Company and the Company Accountant.

Key areas of responsibility

Maintain the purchase ledger, inputting purchase orders and purchase invoices into Sage 200

Analyse credit card expenditure on a monthly basis and post into Sage

Reconcile bank accounts - all currencies

Balance sheet reconciliations, such as fixed assets and loans

Prompt filing

Offer assistance with producing VAT return to ensure accuracy

Reconciling and keeping records of key profit & loss accounts, such as premises expenses, stock write-offs and foreign currency revaluations

Receive, accept and input incoming stock

Record batch/serial codes

Production of the EC VAT return

Terms of Employment

Initially 12 months to cover maternity leave in the first instance.

Qualifications

Previous experience of purchase ledger, sales ledger, cash book and stock control within Sage 200 is preferred but not essentialA minimum of AAT intermediateGood organisational skillsProficient with ExcelCompetent and organised with email.

Salary - 17k initially, rising to 18k following a successful 3 month probationary period.
