The Client
Our client are a global, professional, established and preferred supplier of training solutions / products within the UK and across the globe! We require a Business Development Executive to join their existing team. A pro-active person with sales experience is essential, as is the need for a strong reputation as a relationship builder. You will be mainly office based but will also get the opportunity to visit clients onsite and in addition to this progress within the company.
Responsibilities
Manage a specific geographical area identifying contacts, building a database and pro actively contacting them
Making business to business calls per day to new and existing clients consulting with them.
Dealing with incoming enquiries and converting to sales
Promoting funded training programmes to business decision makers, selling the benefits and discussing the positive business results that will ensue as a result of taking part
Some field based visits to consolidate relationships with potentially big clients
Experience Required
This position requires innovation, the ability to utilise new methods of gaining business
A proven and importantly consistent B2B sales professional with who is able to provide evidence of performance figures or at least discuss them competently
A background in training / retails or sales would be ideal whilst experience in any consultative sales role will be considered
Well presented, enthusiastic and tenacious
Must have a Drivers License as some face to face appointments will be necessary for larger clients
Rewards
A competitive basic salary of 18k - 20k plus commission OTE 35k plus
Excellent working hours: Monday Friday 8.30- 5.30pm
