Job brief/purpose
Design, develop and publish internal e-learning packages for a range of training needs using Articulate and Moodle, for a growing portfolio within a large global firm.
Responsibilities
Primarily:
Designing and developing new e-learning modules for technical subject matter experts, including upgrading existing packages Reporting progress and working with project management structures provided by ArupAdditional responsibilities may include:
Developing user documentation and providing training to new users Testing and reviewing new and existing packages Monitoring usage of e-learning products and reporting on trendsSupporting other team members with technical skillsSkills
Proficient in e-learning development and enhancement software tools: Adobe suite including Flash, Photoshop, Captivate, and Articulate Presenter, Quizmaker, EngageExperience in system simulation instructional design and complex technical content instructional design, e-learning project management and production planning, coupled with a working knowledge of e-learning management systems and SCORM.A proven record in developing innovative technical and process training programmesExperience in use and authoring training packages in Moodle 2.Experience of authoring Engineering based content elearning packages (e.g. Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, Sustainability)A working knowledge of MS Office 2007/10: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OutlookEnglish language skills to a business standard
Strong educational background. Preferably holding a good degree and evidence of keeping skills updated.

The role is dedicated to global development of e-learning products in Arup.

Arup has a rich, thriving, design environment which relies heavily on collaboration tools.These include communities of practice (Skills Networks), Arup People, Arup Projects, learning management systems.These require extensive support for the firm of 10,000 in 90 offices.
