HR Consultant - Wealth
We have an opportunity for a managerial level HR Consultant - Wealth to develop and execute HR solutions that support the delivery of the business strategy within our UK Wealth division at The Royal Bank of Scotland Group.
Our UK Wealth (Private Banking) businesses have strong brands and are very well positioned in their markets. We offer banking and investment services to wealthy private and business customers in the UK and around the world. Our services include investment and portfolio management, tax, trust and estate planning, and stock-broking. We also serve offshore corporate and financial institutions. Our brands are Coutts & Company, Adam & Company and Coutts & Co.
HR Consultants are part of a pool of consultants brought in by the central or divisional HR Business Partners to provide support to the business. Primarily a project management role, we manage and participate in projects, change programmes, HR and organisational initiatives across the full spectrum of HR and organisational activities.
This is a high profile HR Consultant - Wealth role, where you'll manage and deliver large and complex HR projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and risks are managed. You'll be vital to the project success, delivering real value to RBS, and utilising the opportunity to make a tangible contribution to the Wealth HR community. Additionally, you'll be working with key business and HR leaders to identify and diagnose business requirements, using your organisational and HR knowledge to recommend options and solutions that deliver the business and Group objectives. You'll also provide project / programme governance, identifying risks, and advising / working with stakeholders to mitigate their impact, or escalate if required. You'll conduct detailed research, including qualitative and quantitative data collection, and managing any supplier engagement as appropriate.
As an HR Consultant - Wealth, you'll be providing a flexible consultancy service to the business, up-skilling quickly to diagnose issues and deliver projects, whilst providing guidance to colleagues and the business. You'll have significant HR generalist experience, a proven project management background, and programme management and matrix management experience. Additionally you'll have strong diagnostic skills and the ability to communicate with, and influence senior stakeholders.
