We are recruiting on behalf of an established and growing producer of products related to the gas and chemical industry. They are investing heavily into new and innovative products to support and expand their business. As a consequence they now have an opening for an engineer from either a mechanical or chemical background to join a small but busy development team near Bristol. Location is easily accessible from the M5 and M4 motorway network. Excellent long term career prospects and training are on offer to the successful candidate.


The Role:

Reporting to a senior engineer you will play a very active part in providing technical and process support for a wide range of plant related projects related to aspects such as fluid transfer and pressure. Typically this will include the development and running of small plant rigs through to installations and modifications as well as support and enhancement of existing plant infrastructure.

The Person:

You may be a recent graduate in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or have relevant industry experience. Most importantly you will be keen to improve your knowledge about the entire project cycle from initial calculation though to PLC programming and layout (ideally AutoCAD) and finally test/commissioning. Additional skills that would assist your application include knowledge of fluid transfer and pressurised systems, a strong awareness of health and safety and exposure to highly regulated market sectors such as Aerospace, Pharmaceutical or Nuclear industries
