Overall purpose of this role

An experienced Project Management Office Analyst helping the Programme Management Team to effectively control a large Business Transformation Programme through definition and execution of efficient PMO processes, coupled with strong organisational skills.

Reports to

*Business Change Programme/Project Manager

Key accountabilities

Working with the Programme Management Team to:

* Create & maintain Project Control Logs (risks, issues, assumptions, decisions), ensuring actions are completed and risks/issues are escalated as appropriate
* Facilitating key project activity e.g. risk workshops and Programme Governance forums (setting up, chasing attendance, producing inputs and outputs, issue and action management)
*Timely production of project reports e.g. time spent and financial reporting, budget vs. actuals, task completion status, risks and issues status
*Support the development of the Programme and project plans, maintaining the plans throughout the programme and ensuring key critical milestones are recorded and collating status updates from work stream managers
*Regular reviews of project plans with teams, highlighting exceptions to the Programme/Project Managers in weekly reviews
*Control critical Programme activity e.g. deliverable sign offs
*Responding to ad hoc reporting requests
*Facilitating weekly project meetings, including review and update of issues and risks log and timely production of minutes
*Conducting regular project audits of key deliverables e.g. adherence to project standards, sign off evidence
*Ensuring project documentation is complete and current
*Tracking of project dependencies, considering impacts of changes/timing of these and escalating any issues
*Monitor resource assignment to ensure roles and responsibilities are defined and accountability for key activities is clear
*Update project status in Corporate portfolio tool
*Ensure projects adhere to standard procedures

What we'll be looking for in you

*Experience of working on large and complex Business Change/Business Transformation projects
*End to end experience of the project lifecycle and working to corporate standards.
*Advanced use of Microsoft Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Word
*Experience of working with project planning tools eg MS Project.
*An enthusiastic and self motivated person, with the ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
*Team player with good organisational skills and an excellent communicator
*Flexibility to operate in a changing environment.
*Resourcefulness and tenacity to be able to find out answers and overcome obstacles.
