An HR Manager is required to join our friendly HR Team in Bristol and cover the southern region of England.

The HR team is responsible for attracting and developing talent to ensure that we provide a place for challenging, meaningful and rewarding careers. We get involved in a huge variety of activities that are centred around the wellbeing of our staff.
WHAT THE REGIONAL HR MANAGER ROLE INVOLVES:
As an HR Manager closely aligned with the Southern region of our business (not including London) you will work in partnership with the Directors and management to ensure that the business is equipped to create a high performing environment that supports employee attraction, engagement and retention. Working with your colleagues within Resourcing, Learning & Development and the HR Shared Service Centre to youll take overarching responsibility for the delivery of an effective, expert and business lead HR provision to your region; playing a key role in driving the business towards achieving attrition and succession targets as well as strategic objectives.
The HR Manager role is a busy and varied one and will see you developing solid relationships with your stakeholders across the region to build trust, tailor solutions to meet their needs and proactively coach and guide them in applying a best practice approach to their staff. Not only will you be providing expertise into the business in regards to engagement, attraction, performance management & retention; youll be leading on the development and delivery of the People Plans, heading up initiatives and projects, building the profile of the HR service and managing the effective embedding of change.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
As a practised HR professional with experience gained as an HR Manager or Advisor in a multi-site operation, you will be very well versed in the commercial and pragmatic application of employment law, policy & procedure. Your experience and knowledge will be further cemented in a CIPD qualification and its likely that youll be educated to degree level or equivalent.
With such a range of stakeholders in this role, your highly developed business partnering, relationship building, communication and influencing skills will be brought into play from day one. A drive to understand and deliver for your client will be an innate one and youll have a strong background in coaching and developing non HR staff and a focus on adding value in all that you do.
As we work together to deliver various initiatives and projects were also looking for someone who is able to lead in project delivery and management within the region (and at times nationally), so it will be important to us that you have experience and skills in this area too.
Our environment is a fast paced and change driven one, so your demonstrable ability to work at pace whilst delivering quality and managing multiple demands; operate effectively with ambiguity and manage change successfully will be skills we are keen for you to evidence.
This role will cover the south of England and therefore its very important that youre comfortable to undertake travel throughout the region (and at times the UK) and have a full UK driving licence.
