A vacancy has arisen for a Site Engineering Supervisor at our Portbury Mill

The position, reporting to the Site Manager, involves Managing a close knit, well experienced multi skilled team, responsible for the Maintenance of our plant through pro-active systems and procedures, all designed to ensure we maintain a professional service to our customers through reliability in performance of our equipment.

Plant modifications and improvement programmes are also actively sort and implemented by this group and this person should be the driver to these improvements supporting our desire for continuous improvement of Plant and Systems along with our commitment to reduce our overall carbon footprint and cost base.

The range of skills required include being a time served Engineer, preferably Electrical, have worked with automated PLC process control systems with Multi-skilled Electro-Mechanical experience. Additional knowledge Steam plant operations would be advantageous as would a fork truck licence.

You would have gained a minimum 3yrs supervisory experience within a similar environment and managing multi functional team.

Its also vital that you are commitment to working in an Environment that is Safe, Healthy & Organised for all and that current legislation, company policies and procedures are adhered to at all time, as this position also encompasses the role of Site Health & Safety Coordinator.

This Position is working on days but flexibility in covering exceptional out of hrs issues is necessary. You will also deputise for the site Manager in his absence.
