The Team

Endsleigh is a specialist student insurance provider. Founded by NUS, we care about the continually changing needs of our student market.Our Student Business Team are a dedicated field based team of Account Executives and Managers who focus on building and maintaining the relationships we have within the Student and Education markets.

The team is our direct link to these customers, they work with our stakeholders to develop and deliver initiatives that will build our brand and generate sustainable new income from existing channels and markets. The team are also responsible for identifying, proposing and developing innovative market development opportunities.

The role

We are looking for someone to join our Student Business team in the West Midlands on a 9 month fixed term basis. You will be responsible for improving engagement with our customers and their recognition of our brand by highlighting the needs of the student demographic and working to tailor the way we engage with them.

Strong relationships with key figureheads within our core markets are essential in order to strengthen Endsleighs reputation and brand position with the market and youll be responsible for utilising these to identify new niche market strategies, ensuring new routes to market are identified and commercially maximised to deliver budgeted growth and income.

This role will also involve the management and delivery of our annual freshers campaign within the institutions in your area. This campaign allows us to interact face to face with students at events such as key collections and freshers events to ensure they have the right level of cover for their possessions.

The successful candidate will be field based and responsible for managing their own workload and visits.Youll work closely with Universities in Birmingham, Coventry, Staffordshire and Warwick.

The person

Our ideal candidate will be driven to exceed expectations and have the professionalism and confidence to manage and build on a number of commercial relationships.Self motivation is the key to success in this field based role, youll have the ability and initiative to drive the performance of your area forward along with outstanding communication and organisational skills.

We are looking for someone based within this region to become an expert in our core markets, our industry and our products and services. Youll achieve this through coaching and development from your line manager and our Learning and Development team.

Experience of university will be hugely advantageous, either through a sabbatical position or experience of working within a Students Union but commercial experience in a similar role will also be a benefit. Having worked in a targeted and challenging environment will set you up to spot sales opportunities and give you the confidence to capitalise on them.
