Area Sales Manager - Chelmsford area -

As a Area Sales Manager, you will be required to lead, develop and motivate a large team of self employed Representatives and Sales Leaders by influence and example; growing the representative team through; prospecting, and face-to-face selling skills. You are required to recruit a minimum of 15 representatives a week. 80 of the role will be proactively field based.

You will achieve KPI goals though training, motivating and developing the team and have 100 ownership for delivering results on key activities, on a daily, campaign, quarterly and annual basis to achieve area targets.

You will also manage change successfully in a forever changing culture, and prioritise and maximise business growth opportunities within an allocated geography.

As an Area Sales Manager you will also utilise and successfully control your geographical area, using the tools and data provided to you, and multi task and contingency plan to meet demands of a high turnover industry.

As you might expect, to be a successful Area Sales Manager it is vital that youre a proven sales professional, who has successfully led teams to ever-greater results. You will be happy to travel, full of new ideas, initiative and energy and youll constantly instil those around you with your enthusiasm. Good organisational and IT skills are also essential, as is a full UK driving licence.
