BT Sales Account Manager - Bristol
Up to 32k OTE + car + excellent benefits
In this exciting role BT are looking for Sales focused individuals to ensure that advertising options from the BT Directories Product Portfolio to targeted customers in key regional small and medium size businesses, result in the achievement of agreed sales revenue and account numbers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
*To contact identified business decision makers over the phone and book appointments to visit at customer premises (may involve some evening appointments)
*To make additional customer appointments through cold calling on businesses between planned appointments
*To visit potential new customers (prospects) and existing customers to identify business advertising needs
*To design an advertising programme to meet the needs of the customer
*To present the advertising programme to the customer through a structured presentation using agreed selling tools,
*To ensure prompt and accurate processing of customer orders in accordance with agreed timescales and standards
*To increase the prospect database and potential sales opportunities by collecting an agreed weekly target of new business contact details.
Sales activity:
*To complete an agreed number of customer visits a week, to enable the closure of the agreed number of sales to keep on flow of target
*To follow up on all pipeline accounts to ensure a constant and consistent performance
*To complete all paperwork in compliant manner
*To act with integrity and honesty
*To do things Right First Time to keep improving the customer experience.
*To provide accurate and timely performance reports and forecasts to allow the business to plan ahead.
*Hit and exceed sales targets
*To champion customer needs and get the best outcome for both the customer and BT
*Take ownership for personal development and take personal responsibility for keeping up to date with changes that affect the individual, the market place, product set and the company
*To work proactively with other consultants/teams across the Sales functions to share learning and best practice. To work with others in the support functions to provide the best customer experience possible.
*Understands good change management practice and embraces change activities determined by the BT Directories strategy.
