Nurse / Clinical Negligence / Medical Records Analyst

Express Solicitors is a well-regarded expanding firm of claimant personal injury solicitors. Due to continued expansion we are currently seeking a senior Medical Records Analyst, to provide support to our busy Clinical Negligence department. This is an exciting opportunity for talented to join our team.

8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday (negotiable)20 days holiday per annum, plus bank holidays. In addition the office is closed between Christmas and New Year. These days are in addition to your holiday entitlement.

Job description

Analyzing medical records to provide summarised details of the pertinent facts and key details Preparing chronologies/timelines and identifying missing documentsSupervising two assistant team members

Person specification

Required Qualifications/Training

Good IT skills - conversant with Microsoft Word and Outlook

Required Attributes

Experience with medical terminology and procedures A methodical, organised approachAttention to detail Excellent command of English

Desired Attributes

Medical or legal qualificationsExperience of working in a medical/legal environmentKnowledge of the Proclaim case management systemExperience of handling NHS complaints Supervisory experience
