Practice Manager
Gateway Advisors are Chartered Accountants, they are recruiting for a Client Manager to be based at its city centre office in Leeds. The successful candidate will be expected to have extensive experience of dealing with clients from various industries and associated matters and be responsible for helping drive the business forward and for their own portfolio of clients.
The main responsibilities include:
1.Managing and coordinating the end-to-end process of delivering Accounting services to clients
2.Determining appropriate budgets for work and allocating work to the appropriate team members
3.Achieving monthly billing targets
4.Attending client meetings when necessary
5.Ensuring standards are adhered to by all work that is completed by Accounts Department
6.To guide and develop Accounts team (including performing appraisals, KPIs) so that team members consistently aspire to achieving high standards and career progression within the firm
7.Ensuring that accounting systems are updated by their team members
8.Overseeing compliance and regulatory matters
Person specification:
You will be a qualified ACCA or ACA Accountant with recent Chartered Accountant/Practice industry experience. You will possess strong leadership & organization skills as you will be involved in making important decisions within the firm e.g. long term development and strategic planning, potential acquisitions.
You will be highly driven; self motivated and have a considerable understanding of people and process management within the accounts function.
You must possess excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to prepare reports, divisional process and system manuals, and deliver systems training to staff and clients.
