The Money Shop is a Global Financial Organisation who specialise in Cheque Cashing, Loans, Foreign Exchange and Pawn Broking. At present we have over 470 stores in the UK and are currently expanding our operation in Ireland. Due to this continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Regional HR Advisor to join our already successful team.

As the Regional HR Advisor you will report to the Regional HR Business Partner andwill be responsible for evaluating, designing, implementing and driving the HR Operations strategy in line with the Retail Operations business plan. You will ensure a consistent approach to people across the business, providing advice and guidance on all people matters including managing performance, absence and conduct.

Your main areas of responsibility will include:

Develop and execute the short and long term strategy gaining buy in from others Work as a change manager facilitating the change in the business allowing it to grow from strength to strengthProviding training and coaching on people related issues to Managers and District ManagersProviding advice on disciplinary, grievance and performance related issuesEnsuring Line Managers are following best practice when dealing with people issuesBeing the champion of people prompting the effective use of the Focus GroupsIdentifying areas of concern and providing solutions to improve retention/engagementPromoting the recognition of performance within the RegionImproving recruitment processes to ensure Managers are recruiting smartlyEnsuring District Managers are proactively identifying talent within their Region and are planning the development of their team to meet the future needs of the businessWorking with Management to reduce absenteeism in the businessEnsuring Managers are performance managing their people in line with Company procedures

As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate:

A minimum of 2 years experience working at HRAdvisor level or similarEducation to degree level (HR related preferred but not essential)Excellent communication skillsStrong analytical skillsExcellent Problem solving skillsAbility to influence decision making of othersAbility to coach and develop othersAbility to manage complex people situationsA positive and proactive attitude to workAbility to work as a team
