We are currently recruiting for a Service Delivery Manager to support an extremely high profile contract in our Local Direct and Transport Division.

Role Summary:

The Senior Service Delivery Manager is accountable for the overall service delivery performance of a contract or multiple contracts. Managing across all service delivery teams and suppliers both internal and external to Serco, the Senior Service Delivery Manager drives the performance of services to the client as agreed in the contract and in line with best practice, ensuring that Service Levels are achieved.

The Senior Service Delivery Manager will manage the cost base of the contracted services ensuring delivery to budget and will develop the business relationship with the customer to help identify service improvement opportunities and extensions to service being provided.

A demonstrable track record in shaping and influencing the delivery of Services via Shared Service capabilities, both on and off shore and between internal operational divisions is core to the success of this role. The ability to drive common behaviour and practices through a robust governance model in this environment is critical, as is the ability to step into core service delivery processes as and when required to do so.

The successful candidate will have; demonstrable experience of working with and managing multidisciplinary teams, a strong working knowledge of SLAs, proven people management skills. It is also essential that candidates have a strong background in ICT Operations at a senior level, with broad technical and supervisory knowledge and experience and ITIL certification
