The Role: The Project Manager will be working within the Infrastructure Services division focusing on Systems Development projects with authority and responsibility for all aspects of a significant, large complex projects and full accountability for actions taken and decisions made, both by self and the project team.

Core Tasks:

Delivering high-profile projects and programmes of work, establishing and maintaining correct structures to control and monitor the deliverables to the businessLeading project planning, scheduling, controlling and reporting activities for strategic, high impact, high risk projects, ensuring comprehensive project, quality, and risk plans are prepared and maintainedContributing extensively to the annual planning an d budgetary process Ensuring realistic estimates of costs, timescales and resource requirements are agreed and projects are monitored against these criteria, taking corrective action as necessaryManaging risks, ensuring any strategic problems are identified, solutions are recognised and implemented in line with change control processesManaging, developing and maintaining resource plans and monitoring the deployment of individuals to ensure that they are contributing effectively whilst developing skills and experienceLiaising with management at the highest levels within the business, managing their expectations for projects

The Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience within project management focusing on Systems Development environments across multi-country locationsPrevious experience gained from an Technology/IT Managed Services organisation (pan-European or International scale)Skilled and experienced in all areas of project management from initiation through to planning, r isk management and project evaluationOffer impressive stakeholder management, negotiation and influential skills

Qualifications:

MSP Foundation, or equivalentPrince 2 qualified and/or Project Management qualificationITIL v3.0 Foundation
