As a leading Food Retailer, we are searching for a versatile Buyer, to complement the growing Buying Team at our Head Office in Essex.

This is an exciting newopportunity to join our business at a time of investment and growth withscope for individual development and long term future prospects.

The ideal candidate will have gained commercial buying experience within a food retail environment, be of graduate calibre and have a strong understanding of the retail market & buying principles.

The successful candidate will have good communication, negotiation and analytical skills. You will be proactive in respect of finding solutions to problems and have a good understanding of Excel at Intermediate level.

You will have direct contact with Suppliers, negotiating cost prices, promotions, and managing the introduction of new lines.

Candidates must have a degree in a relevant field with previous experience as an Assistant/ Junior Buyer within a Food Retail Company.
