Pick Everard is a leading, independent and multi-disciplinary engineering and architectural partnership with offices throughout the UK. We currently have an opening in our Leicester office for a Graduate Electrical Engineer, who has already gained some relevant work experience in a design role.

You will have the opportunity to gain exposure to innovative and challenging projects and will take an active role from day one. The role would fit a confident, loyal and career minded individual who is hungry to prove his/her engineering talents. Training and support towards becoming a chartered engineer will be provided, along with a realistic chance of progression within the firm.

The ideal candidate should have:

Relevant degree or equivalent professional qualificationMinimum one year design experience with consultant or contractorFire alarm and emergency lighting design experienceKnowledge and understanding of BS7671Structured wiring system and security systems design experience - desirableLighting design software experience - Hevacomp and/or DialuxFamiliarity with AutoCAD - essential, experience in using Revit MEP - desirableKnowledge of construction industry design processes and procurement arrangementsAwareness of mechanical services principles -desirableKnowledge of current legislation e.g. UK Building RegulationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsTeam worker attitude, prepared to go the extra mile
