HR Administrator Birmingham
HR Administrator Birmingham (Part time 20 hours per week)
Reporting to the HR Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our HR team in Birmingham. The successful individual will play a pivotal role in providing proactive and value adding HR administration and assistant support to the business during this exciting period of growth.
Fundamental to this role is building trust with individuals both within the HR function and the core Teleperformance operation. This is an incredibly varied role which requires flexibility coupled with extremely good organizational skills.
An over of day to day tasks are:
(1) General activities
Business wide reporting activities in line with the weekly/monthly/annual report template and/or as required by HR
Moving staff from temporary to permanent contracts as required by the Operations teams and HR Business Partners updating our HR systems and liaising with other support functions, and, as applicable, collating ID and issuing new contracts
Completing relevant paperwork for external partners
Sending and processing paperwork confidentially and securely (i.e. servicing internal and external audiences, in line with agreed SLAs)
As required, note taking to support formal and complex employee relation meetings (e.g. disciplinaries/grievances)
Escalating any administration/reporting issues as applicable to HR Business Partners and/or HR Manager
Day to day management of HR database proactively seeking and then driving forward process improvements to deliver ongoing efficiencies
(2) Specific recruitment related administration and support activities
Applying for references for new starts in line with agreed
Processing reference requests for leavers
Assisting the HR Business Partners with any additional recruitment related administration activities (i.e. DS/credit referencing checks and any other probity requirements)
Generation of contracts sending these to candidates in advance of start dates
Assisting the HR Business Partners with facilitating group assessments, undertaking second stage 1 to 1 interviews and verbal offers, as required
(3) Employee data and file maintenance (electronic and hard copy)
Filing and the ownership for the day to day management of information contained within employee files both hard copy HR files and electronic files
Responsibility for the up keep of information, paperwork and files contained within the central HR office
Accountable for ensuring the confidentiality of personal and employee HR records and data, ensuring regular security checks and audits are completed within cascade and hard copy HR filesThis list of activities is not an exhaustive representation of the role and as such the role holder may be required to undertake any other activities as deemed appropriate by the HR Manager and/or HR Director
