HR Business Partner
Peek is a fast-paced growing business operating across the UK and RoI. As part of our commitment to growth, we are recruiting for a new post within the HR team, to work as part of a Management Team, providing support to a Unit Director.

Being a member of a Management Team you will focus on supporting and challenging the Unit Director in strategic organisational development.
As an experienced HR Business Partner you will be skilled in building relationships and influencing colleagues at all levels, to drive business objectives. You will also coach and support managers so that they are proactive in their people-management skills, with attention to having the right people in our teams to support a strategy of growth. Initiatives may include restructures, development, and succession planning together with absence and performance management.
In particular we are interested in candidates who can confidently display the following skills:
- Experience of supporting organisational growth, from an HR perspective
Group consultation e.g. TUPE in and/or out, redundancy, or change to contracts
Performance management
Employee relations
Competency based recruitment, up to and including Senior Management level
The ability to successfully work autonomously, within both the HR Team and a business stream this will require excellent communication skills and an ability to prioritise.
Flexibility, self-motivation and highly organised
Excellent communication skills
Your knowledge and experience is likely to include:
CIPD qualified or currently studying
Driving employee engagement
Supplying bid/tendering information
An autonomous work style
A get it right, first time, approach
IT literate (Word, Excel and PowerPoint, computerised personnel system)
If you are the successful candidate you will work as a Business Partner to our Urban Unit (approx. 220 employees), supporting the Director.As such, whilst based in Leicester, you are likely to be out of the office for several days each week, with occasional overnight stays away from home (approx. 3-4 per month), including attending our Head Office in Basingstoke where the majority of the HR Team are based.In line with this, you must have a full UK driving licence.
We recognise that we want The Perfect HR Person (with a sense of humour!), but this is an important role for Peek, and we cant accept second-best.
