Overview

To tutor at the Learndirect Centre and Community Training Portal Learning Centre. To deliver basic Maths, English, ICT, work skills, NVQ and all Learndirect delivery work based and classroom based courses.

To operate a funded program within a given timeframe and ensure completions and set targets are achieved.

To ensure the quality of the provision of Learndirect meets the requirements of UFI, SFA and OFSTED.

Centre based

Embed improvement in the Virtual Learning Centre and CTP learning centre, handle enquires and provide appropriate informationTake a wide view ofthe company targets and contribute to planning and developmentEnsure daily outcomes set are metAchievement of targets and key performance targets as identified by the Centre ManagerEstablish systems to ensure that all records are in accordance of audit requirementsCheck and reply to all emails, system clearing, contact PED/AED LearnersPut all assessments plans, assessment evidence and feedback in Learners portfolio Continuously report on your allocated learner progression to CTP managementAttend meetings, team meetings and training as requested by the General ManagerEnsure individual monthly targets set by General Manager are achievedTo continually promote the centre, contribute to marketing and promotion of learndirectImplement any improvements identified as a result of your performance reviews and internal verification sampling

Learner based

Provide support to Learners through face to face, telephone and email communicationProvide Learners with initial advice and guidance regarding suitability of courses, induct Learners into the learndirect environment, courses and systemsEstablish and record learning goals applicable to the Learners needsTo enrol Learners and supportthem through to completion of the coursesPlan progression in agreement with LearnersProvide support for Learners requiring specialist support (in house through referral to external agencies)Delivery of National Tests Development of Achievement with SFL learning implementation of additional learner supportProvide lessons, one to one Learner time and facilitate NVQ completionsMaintain all Learner course notes, records and files accurately in accordance with the requirements of Ufi, SFA andOFSTEDUndertake assessments of the Learners work and give effective, constructive feedback and timely feedback in accordance with CTP standardsCarry out learner progress reviews and maintain individual learning plans for LearnersMonitor Learners progressions and ensure assessments is complete, to enable Learners to meet achievement targets for all parts of their programmes by agreed end dates
