The Role

We are looking for a Payroll Administrator with experience in Northgate Arinso to join us for 6 months initially at our offices in Wythenshaw.

Key Purpose of Job

To be responsible for the provision of an efficient and effective payroll service ensuring service users are provided with accurate information at all times.

To maintain and input payroll information in a precise and accurate manner.

Anticipated Outcomes of Post

To ensure that as part of the HR Dept an effective Payroll service is provided to Brammer UK Ltd employees.

Effective working relationships with managers and employees in all departments.

Key Duties

Input monthly/weekly payroll data into the Northgate system in accordance with statutory and contractual obligations and to pre-defined time-scales.

Process and monitor all staffing changes including starters, secondments, transfers, leavers and other amendments to salaries and employee data in compliance with policy and payroll requirements.

The input, calculation and recording of maternity, paternity and adoption payments.

General payroll input, overtime, incentives and call outs etc.

The processing of relevant Inland Revenue forms including on-line P45, P46 etc.

The processing and deduction of Pension / AVCs contributions

The processing and deduction of Student Loans/ Attachment of earnings etc.

Deduction of mobile phone charges.

Calculating and processing payments to Inland Revenue, County Courts, Pensions.

The accurate calculations of gross to net.

Prepare information to assist in the provision of information to external agencies in relation to mortgage references, Child Support Agencies questionnaires, etc as required.

Advise employees and managers on payroll/pension/P11D issues as first point of contact for enquiries.

Basic understanding of system requirements.

Basic understanding of different sets of service conditions and their application.

Assisting as required with all routine administrative/clerical duties of the HR team.
