Sales Engineer
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
-Act as the lead technical contributor to the sale of AEPONA solutions into the assigned customer accounts
-Develop and maintain professional relationships with key technical stakeholders within the assigned customer accounts
-Provide technical support to the sales team to define the capability, applicability and future evolution of the AEPONA product set.
-Conduct technical presentations to customers in conjunction with sales executives incorporating both product solutions and professional services.
-Present a positive business and technical case to prospective customers for the purchase of AEPONA solutions.
-Responding to RFIs, RFPs and RFQs including co-ordinating the input of other key staff.
Qualifications
-A relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related subject.
-At least 8-10 years experience in a similar customer-facing role providing technical support and advice to a sales function.
-Proven experience of responding to customer tender documentation.
-Proven track record in telecommunications network infrastructure fixed line and mobile.
-Hardware platform knowledge and experience.
-Experience in the process of software delivery and deployment.
-Strong customer facing skills.
-Excellent presentation skills.
-Ability to think creatively and to present customised solutions to prospects.
-Ability to communicate effectively with multi-discipline teams.
Strong written communication skills.
