Transaction Services- Financial Decisions and Analysis - Senior Manager - Birmingham
Who we are looking for
Financial Decisions and Analysis (FDnA) is an evolution of the very successful Transaction Services Modelling team. Over the past three years the team has successfully delivered hundreds of projects working with global private equity houses, their portfolio companies and mid-tier corporate entities.
The FDnA team is focused on delivering advice and analytical support to our Private Equity and Corporate clients in the deal space.
We are now looking to recruit a Senior Manager to help in creating a 20m business by FY17 by managing multiple projects, liaising directly with clients and overseeing less experienced staff.
You would be based in our Bimingham office and, like all our people, you will have the opportunity to travel to service our clients. Flexibility to travel around the UK and beyond to meet our client and wider team needs is important.
About the role
There are three parts to what we do, which are:
CFO Office, a framework to design and implement planning, reporting and cash management disciplines, typically to private equity portfolio companiesDeal Modelling, market leading modelling and analytics to prepare for, and support, the transaction, refinancing and restructuring spaces and Decision Support, supporting our clients focus on creating value in their business by bringing analytical rigour to key decision making processes.All of our consultants need a combination of financial, technical and commercial experience and an ability to communicate complex information in non-technical terms to a wide and senior set of clients.
A successful candidate would be responsible for assisting client with:
Board and management reporting
Budgeting and forecasting
Cash forecasting and reporting
Deal modelling
Restructuring
Model Review
Investment appraisal
Product and Customer Profitability
Pricing Analysis
Strategic Options Analysis
Requirements
ACA or equivalent Have a strong academic background Combine the deep technical skills appropriate for your grade with a strong commercial acumen Have some relevant managerial and analytical/modelling experience in Industry or at a Professional Services firm Strong interpersonal / communication skills Proven people management skills Ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently Strong Excel skills are essential Experience of Visual Basic would be beneficial.
