Overall purpose of this role

To support initiating, development and implementation of system and operating changes within Swinton Retail Network, Specialist & Internet Units.

Key accountabilities
* Assess requirements and then support prioritising and delivery of the operational changes with effective planning and implementation
* Assesses the impact of change on the business units / systems / customers
* Ensure the appropriateness of changes to operational processes, from both operational and customer experience perspectives creating detailed business requirements for the system developments
* Feeds into training requirements to support operational or system changes
* Ensures successful implementation of all changes to operational processes, including stakeholder management and business readiness
* Manage the Business Change Team strand of any projects and business-wide operational change initiatives and support Business Change managers in major projects and changes to the business
* Hosts workshops around proposed and delivered changes/improvements to assess effectiveness
* Design system test plans and scripts and execute / coordinate UAT
* Feed into product development for any Swinton products
* Ensures that all change adheres to Swinton processes and procedures regarding governance, impact assessment and process documentation, e.g. ensuring appropriate approvals and sign-offs, engagement from other areas of the business.
* Proactively identifies process performance improvement opportunities and champions this where appropriate
* Draft various styles of communications to cascade change in the most effective and interesting way to all affected business areas.
* Liaise with stakeholder representatives to understand, assess requirements and impacts and input into procedural changes
* Maintain and where necessary improves processes, procedures and letters
* Responsible for sign off of varying materials appropriate to change
