An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Finance Executive working with a dynamic online business (consumer finance) reporting to the Finance Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes to develop their career and progress within the organisation. Enthusiasm and a willingness to work hard and to contribute are a prerequisite.

A newly qualified or qualified by experience individual, with some experience of working in consumer finance would be ideally suited to this role although the opportunity is not restricted for the right candidate.

Duties/Responsibilities to include:

Reporting to management and adhoc analysis in order to aid management decision making

Daily reporting of trading activities

Daily cash flow monitoring, forecasts and operational planning

Working with operations and risk analytics teams

Preparation of month end accounts and monthly reporting packs

Submission of data and reports in order to meet Sarbanes-Oxley and other Group policy requirements

Inter-company reconciliations

Other ad hoc tasks and analysis required to assist the Finance Manager and Head of Finance

Applicant must have/be:

Ambitious

Excellent analytical skills and an eye for detail

Working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel, Word and Outlook

Familiar with processing and reconciling transaction on accounting software packages Experience with Great Plains would be ideal but not essential to the right candidate

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team and with all levels of staff

Deadline driven and ability to work under pressure to meet such deadlines

Take responsibility for the work they prepare and have the initiative to take on new tasks

Have ability to identify weaknesses in current processes and have the courage to make recommendations for improving them
