We are looking for a senior technical consultant specialising in Citrix, Virtualisation (VMWare, Hyper-V) and HP Storage technologies. This role will consist of 60 hands-on high end project based technical work on client sites, 20 pre sales, and the rest developing proposals, documentation and investigating emerging and evolving technologies. The company is a growing, forward thinking company whose client base is largely in the Midlands/Birmingham (with some clients further afield as well.)
The right candidate will have the following experience:
At least 10 years IT experience with 4+ years at consultancy/senior support level, dealing with clients face to face.
Some pre sales experience
Very experienced with Citrix XenApp, Citrix XenServer, Virtualisation (VMware/HyperV), Citrix Netscaler
Knowledge of HP Storage products including HP P4000 G2 SAN Solution
Experience of working on large client projects in a consultancy role
Accreditations are preferred CCEA, CCA, VCP
You will need to be based in the Midlands in order to get to the office as well as the clients, although you can be located anywhere in the West Midlands, Birmingham or Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Warwickshire.
